Metallicat Silver Tom, aka Toby.
DoB 21st September 2007.
Son of: Ch. Silvergiltcats Silv. Denzel Washington x
Ch. Alorac Pollycinders.
"Tom/Toby got home with no incidents. So far he has been very accepting of us (no hiding under the furniture) though he has been pretty wary of his environment. He has found a big shelf with a blanket we had cleared for him and has spent most of his time there, just occasionally coming down to explore. He didn't eat much yesterday, his first day here, but seems to have made up for it at breakfast.
He has grown quite a lot now at (5 months) and was over 3.6kg the last time he was weighed.
He is now noticeably bigger than Ellie, (play mate British shorthair silver tabby). He remains
very friendly and easy to handle.
Whoever said cats are solitary animals never met Toby (now 7 months). As I write, he is being typically (un)helpful. He is at last in my lap having been lifted off the keyboard half a dozen times so that I could type. He is such a friendly boy."
1 year on: "He has got very big and solid - like a cat-sized rugby player. Everyone
likes him because he's so friendly and his markings are much admired."
After 3 years "Thanks for the birthday card for Toby. I have been trying to get you a good current picture but that’s easier said than done. He’s not usually still long enough except when he’s asleep. He’s doing really well and so is Ellie.
