Metallicat Silver Peepbo, aka Polly |
|||||||||||
| Our kitten Peepbo as she was and now in her new home. | |
DoB 28th May 2010 |
Daughter
of: Ch. Sargenta Silver Xalvador X Ch. Metallicat Silver Spyda |
Yumyum now lives with Jenny and Peter in Hertfordshire. After 1 day with Jenny and
Peter "We had a good journey home and
Peepbo/Polly was very good all the way. She seems quite happy,
following us around - one room at a time but has now covered the
kitchen, both lounges, hall, stairs - which she loves, landing and our
bedroom and bathroom. She has eaten, had drinks, had a wee a couple of
times in her tray and had a few lovely sleeps - on windowsills and next
to me on the sofa "
After 4 weeks "Peepbo/Polly has settled in nicely - seems to like it here! She is very sweet - loves a cuddle and nights are spent on my pillow - on top of my head - even if she isn't there when I go to bed - she is there very soon after - purring loudly as she settles down! She is also very happy to wake us up in the mornings - about an hour too early at the moment but nice to be woken with a purr and lick until you move! She is obviously on a mission for breakfast! She follows us around all the time - has just appeared at my side now - wondering where I have got too. She loves to sleep in her bed or on a pink blanket on one of the kitchen chairs and also in the half bowl of the one and a half bowl sink - fits in there quite nicely!" After 10 weeks. " I would say she is like Spyda. She is completely mad - no fear at all - jumps and runs without thinking and often misses and falls off but bounces back for more every time!. She is very funny - likes being with us and has made herself very much at home." After 3 months. "Polly had her op this week. All okay and doing well but hasn't calmed her down at all! They all loved her at the Vets wanted to keep her! Said she was stunning and also very friendly had spent the afternoon purring! Weighs 2.6 kg now. She is completely fearless! " After 6 months. "She is still very very sweet - but don't be fooled - she is also very very naughty - just like her Mum from what you told us about Spyda! She is nine months old tomorrow! She seems very much at home here - just loves being with us and very affectionate - always playing - carrying her mice around - climbing everything - curtains, onto pelmets, curtain poles, wardrobes - completely fearless - stands on the bannister's at the top of the stairs - makes me feel sick - but always seems to get herself out of trouble. Loves climbing up a back - but no claws out so not a problem. " After 8 months. "Polly is doing well - still naughty - turning taps on, climbing to great heights indoors, but very loving too - loves a fuss and the purr is getting very loud now! Like Oscar (Jenny had Osric / Oscar previously to Polly) she loves to be with us whatever we are doing but is also happy in her bed or in her carrier and often sleeps in there in the evenings of her own accord. Not a lap cat - well so far - so I doubt she will be - but tramples all over us and goes from one to the other to get as much fuss and stroking as possible! " After nearly 1 year . "Almost a year old now and very much at home as you can see! Full of mischief and into everything. Weighed today and is 4.6 kgs. Favourite place to sleep is still little sink (half bowl) in kitchen - quite a squeeze now but she loves it - lays in it like a bath looking out at garden! A real sweetie though and very loving. " |
