Now and Then

Metallicat Silver Mercutio, aka Kipper

Our kitten Mercutio as he was and now in his new home.

DoB 6th September 2008	Son of: Ch. Sargenta Silver Xalvador X Ch. Metallicat Silver Spyda.
Kipper now lives with Melanie & Chris in Guernsey. "They are exactly as you said very confident and love being together. (On the journey home) they were brilliant, we haven't had so many people come up for a chat at all three airports! It was so busy at Southampton Airport and very noisy but they were looking at everything going past! You certainly have done a great job bringing the brothers up to be very well behaved Boys, they are lovely and so friendly, always purring extremely loudly. At 6 months old. I can hardly bring myself to tell you that we lost Kipper (Mercutio) in February on a Saturday morning when he was with us both inside the house. First thoughts were that he had been stolen, it was a sunny day, one minute he was with Scampi, the next he had vanished. We immediately called at all the neighbouring houses with a flyer, with no response of a sighting. After the most dreadful weekend, a neighbour just across the road found him on the Tuesday under his car that is always parked in his driveway. He was so sorry because he hadn't used his car for several days. I felt very guilty and didn't really want to tell you, even now it is very difficult. I was upset for Scampi loosing his brother they loved being together and used to snuggle up as kittens in their bed."
