Metallicat Silver Claudio, aka Jasper |

| Our kitten Claudio as he was, and now in his new home. | |
DoB 13th August 2009 |
Son
of: Ch. Metallicat Spotted Dick X Metallicat Silver Hero |
Jasper now lives with Alec, Clare and family in Essex. "Jasper
is settling
in well. He familiarised himself
quite
quickly when we got home, Clare and I played with him for a while and
my young son (up
unusually late as it was a special occasion) came and met him. We put
his bed
on a chair under the dining room table and he seemed very happy with
its
position. He was found there first thing in the morning, but was
straight out
as soon as he heard me.
Sunday went really well – the boys
were told to be
quiet and gentle and by and large they did stick to that. Today not so
much,
but Jasper seems so much at home that he is not freaked at all about
the small
but loud and animated boys. He has explored the whole house now and
seems to be
comfortable wherever he is. Attached are a few pictures that sum up how
he has
been today – relaxed and happy. He is certainly making himself at
home
and he seems to like the company as he cries when the boys leave the
room that
he is in. After 5 months: "Jasper is such a wonderful cat, we simply adore him. His markings are amazing and everyone comments on what a stunning cat he is, his photos don't really do him justice. Every time the boys have their bath, Jasper is straight up into the bathroom too, he jumps up onto the side of the bath and watches them, as I'm sure you can imagine a lot of splashing goes on but that doesn't bother Jasper at all. On several occasions he's even jumped in. How amazing! We always thought cat's weren't keen on water but not Jasper, if there's a bowl of water on the floor he gets into it, if you have a glass of water he puts his paws in it. As I'm sure you can imagine a 3 and 2yr old in a house is often a recipe for loud noise and plenty of over excitement but Jasper seems to take it all in his stride, and most of the time he seems to put himself right in the centre of the chaos, until he's had enough and then he just takes himself off somewhere for some peace and quiet. He's so tolerant of the boys, he's the perfect pet, we wish now we'd had two from you!!" |
